Before the races, we gather to go over the course, share tips, and get inspired together. For most participants, this is their very first winter trail adventure – so you’re in great company.

Run, jog, or hike your way up two of the High Coast’s most breathtaking peaks – Getsvedjeberget and Skuleberget – and take in views you’ll never forget.

TWIN PEAKS 13k
The High Coast Winter Trail – Twin Peaks 13k is a breathtaking winter adventure that, with its generous 7-hour time limit, welcomes everyone – from passionate runners to curious explorers eager to experience the magic of Sweden’s winter wilderness.
On Saturday morning, we’ll gather for a course briefing and inspiration session before setting off after lunch on a journey that includes two majestic mountain ascents and an energy station halfway along the route.
As the sun sets, we reunite at the legendary After-Trail to celebrate the day – tired legs, big smiles, and unforgettable memories guaranteed.
TWO STAGES
High Coast Winter Trail Twin Peaks 13k consists of two stages:
Stage 1: Getsvedjeberget 7k
Stage 2: Skuleberget 6k
CUT-LINES
For your safety and to ensure everyone returns to FriluftsByn on time, we have set a time limit for completing the first stage.
16:00: Norrfjärden (7 km).
To ensure everyone’s safety participants who haven’t reached this point within 3 hours will be transported back to FriluftsByn upon arrival and will not continue the race.
START
You check in on Friday afternoon or Saturday morning. The joint start takes place directly at FriluftsByn. Don´t miss the race brief.

Stage 1:
GETSVEDJEBERGET: 7k
We begin by following Docksta River and then head towards the sea and Getsvedjeberget with its distinctive pulpit rock. After descending the mountain, we reach the energy station.
Stage 2:
SKULEBERGET: 6k
Our next challenge is the High Coasts most dramatic and legendary mountain. We follow the eastern ridge trail to the top and descend via the High Coast Trail.
FINISH LINE
We’ll hear the cowbells a kilometer before we arrive. Exactly what we need to give us that extra boost of energy! Great job. Now a shower and after-trail await.

TWIN PEAKS 13k
The Twin Peaks 13k is the perfect choice if you’re looking for a fun yet tough and rewarding challenge set in one of Sweden’s most spectacular winter landscapes – shared with fellow runners and adventurers from across the world.
The check-in and race briefing take place at FriluftsByn, at the foot of the iconic Skuleberget. The race starts right here and gives you 7 hours to summit two of the High Coast World Heritage Site’s most breathtaking peaks before returning to the finish line at FriluftsByn.
The day concludes with the legendary After-Trail celebration – great food, new friends, and that unforgettable feeling of having experienced something truly Nordic. A fantastic challenge, plenty of laughter, and a community you’ll want to return to year after year.

The High Coast Winter Trail features five unique distances, each offering a different way to experience Sweden’s stunning High Coast. Twin Peaks 13k and Three Peaks 17k start right from FriluftsByn, while Classic 25k/30k, Extreme 35k, and Insane 50k begin with a bus ride from FriluftsByn to their scenic starting points.

The signature distance of the High Coast Winter Trail. Choose between the Classic 25k or Classic XL 30k and experience up to 10 hours of breathtaking scenery, Nordic winter magic, and shared adventure.
EXTREME 35k »
For those seeking a extreme winter challenge. Follow the Classic XL 30k trail before adding another mountain and stunning views of Sweden’s High Coast. Brutal, breathtaking – and absolutely unforgettable.
