The Three Peaks 17k takes you across Herrestaberget, Getsvedjeberget, and Skuleberget – three iconic summits in a UNESCO World Heritage landscape shaped by ice, time, and the elements.

With an 7-hour time limit, the Three Peaks 17k welcomes both runners and those who combine jogging with speed-hiking. Those who chase the summit and those who pause to take it all in.

THREE PEAKS 17k
The High Coast Winter Trail – Three Peaks 17k is an unforgettable adventure for those ready to take on a true Scandinavian winter challenge. If you can jog around 10 kilometers and have a spirit for exploration, you’ll love this journey through some of Sweden’s most breathtaking mountain landscapes.
You’ll climb Herrestaberget, Getsvedjeberget, and Skuleberget – three iconic peaks rising above the frozen forests and coastline of the High Coast. It might just be the toughest – and most beautiful – race you’ve ever done.
With a generous 7-hour time limit, there’s no rush. Take your time to pause, breathe in the crisp winter air, and enjoy every view, every climb, and every shared moment along the way.
THREE STAGES
High Coast Winter Trail Three Peaks consists of three stages
Stage 1: Herrestaberget 5k
Stage 2: Getsvedjeberget 6k
Stage 3: Skuleberget 6k
An energy station is located between Getsvedjeberget and Skuleberget.
CUT-LINES
For your safety and to ensure everyone returns to FriluftsByn on time, we have set a time limit for completing the first stage.
17:00: Norrfjärden (12 km).
To ensure everyone’s safety participants who haven’t reached this point within 4 hours will be picked up and transported back to FriluftsByn upon arrival.

Stage 1:
HERRESTABERGET: 5k
We begin by crossing the ice towards Herrestaberget. A mountain that may seem gentle but quickly tests your strength. From the top, we’re treated to beautiful views of the nearby villages and the coastline.
Stage 2:
GETSVEDJEBERGET: 6k
The second stage starts at Docksta River, where we head towards the sea and make our way to Getsvedjeberget with its distinctive pulpit rock. After descending the mountain, we’ll reach the energy station.
Stage 3:
SKULEBERGET: 6k
The third and most impressive mountain is the legendary Skuleberget. We follow the Eastern Mountain Trail up and enjoy the High Coast Trail all the way down to the finish line at FriluftsByn.
FINISH LINE
Whoop! Whoop! You did it! Your legs should feel it, and your phone should be full of pictures. Now it’s time for a warm shower, and then we’ll get ready for the After-Trail!

THREE PEAKS 17k
The High Coast Winter Trail – Three Peaks 17k takes you over the legendary High Coast Three Peaks – Herrestaberget, Getsvedjeberget, and Skuleberget – for an unforgettable winter adventure through some of Sweden’s most breathtaking scenery.
The check-in and race briefing take place at FriluftsByn, at the foot of the iconic Skuleberget in the heart of the High Coast. The race starts right here, sending you on a journey across frozen valleys and snow-covered summits before returning to FriluftsByn within the generous 7-hour time limit.
The day ends with the legendary After-Trail celebration – warm food, good music, new friends, and that deep sense of achievement that only a true Nordic adventure can bring. A beautiful challenge, endless laughter, and a community you’ll want to return to year after year.

The High Coast Winter Trail features five unique distances, each offering a different way to experience Sweden’s stunning High Coast. Twin Peaks 13k and Three Peaks 17k start right from FriluftsByn, while Classic 25k/30k, Extreme 35k, and Insane 50k begin with a bus ride from FriluftsByn to their scenic starting points.
